Context

Great North Hardscape (GNH) is a national supplier specializing in products, tools, and equipment for hardscape and landscaping professionals. The company brings together a wide range of brands and solutions under one umbrella, offered through its distributor network.

Our collaboration with GNH began in November 2024, with a mandate focused primarily on social media. Over the years, it has evolved to include video production, Meta campaigns, and ongoing graphic design support for various internal needs, including the annual catalogue and event materials.

GNH entrusted us with two main objectives:

  • Increase visibility for GNH and the various brands it distributes
  • Provide ongoing marketing and graphic design support to the internal team, both for social media and the company’s various communication materials.

A strategic deployment

Project Challenges

One of the main challenges of the mandate lies in the diversity of GNH’s product offering. As a distributor, the company needs to promote a wide range of products and brands that address very different needs.

The strategy therefore had to give visibility to these various brands while maintaining a consistent and recognizable presence for GNH itself.

This is combined with a wide range of marketing needs. Beyond social media, the team regularly requires materials for internal initiatives, its annual catalogue, events, and promotional activities. The mandate therefore needed to remain flexible enough to support GNH across multiple types of projects, rather than being limited to a single platform or format.

Strategies Implemented by Bridge Media

Several initiatives were introduced and expanded over the course of the collaboration:

  1. Organic Content Calendar
Regular creation and publication of content highlighting products, partner brands, real-world applications, and GNH’s expertise among industry professionals.
  2. Video Content Program
Integration of a video program designed to showcase products in a more practical and engaging way, particularly for an audience of hardscape and landscaping professionals.
  3. Video-Focused Meta Campaigns
Amplification of video content through Meta campaigns, with ThruPlays and video views as the primary objectives. This approach generated more than 1.36 million impressions and over 200,000 complete video views between March and August 2026.
  4. Graphic Design Support for Internal Needs
The mandate gradually expanded to include the design of the annual catalogue as well as a monthly bank of design hours, giving GNH access to ongoing creative support for its various marketing and event-related needs.
  5. A Strategy That Evolved Over Time
Rather than remaining static, the mandate was expanded year after year based on the company’s needs, evolving from an initial organic content strategy to an approach that now combines content, video, paid campaigns, and design.

This approach allows Great North Hardscape to support the visibility of its many brands while building a strong and consistent presence for GNH among industry professionals.
